Soul Design Atlas is built on something personal: your name, your birth date, the design you carry. We treat that information with the same care we ask you to bring to it. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are; wherever in the world you read from.

Who we are

Soul Design Atlas (souldesignatlas.com) is operated by Inner Kompas, based in the Netherlands. For anything related to your data, write to menno@souldesignatlas.com.

What we collect, and why

The free Atlas Glimpse. Your first name, email address, birth date, and optionally a photo. We use the birth date to calculate your reading, the photo only to place it on your PDF, and your email to send it to you. The photo is not stored after your Glimpse has been created.

The Monthly Letter. Your first and last name, email address, birth date, and country. We use the birth date to write your personalized letter each month, and your email to deliver it.

Payments. Handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We keep a record of your subscription status (trial, active, cancelled) to know who receives a letter.

Email. If you receive the Glimpse, we may send you a small number of follow-up notes about your reading. Every email contains an unsubscribe link. The Monthly Letter itself arrives once a month; no other emails in between.

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell or share your data for marketing, and we collect nothing beyond what the reading and the letter require.

Who processes your data for us

A small set of services, each bound by their own data processing agreements: Stripe (payments), Mailchimp / Intuit (email delivery), Vercel (website hosting), and Hetzner (EU-based server where readings and letters are generated). Your birth data and subscription records live on the Hetzner server in the EU.

How long we keep it

Glimpse data: as long as you remain on our mailing list; unsubscribe and we stop mailing you. Monthly Letter data: for the duration of your subscription, plus the period we are legally required to keep billing records (7 years under Dutch tax law, billing data only). If you want your data removed earlier, one email is enough.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or receive it in a portable format. You can also object to any use of it. We extend these rights to every reader worldwide; not only where the law requires it. Write to menno@souldesignatlas.com and we will respond within 30 days.

For readers in the EU these rights are guaranteed by the GDPR, and you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Readers in other jurisdictions (such as the UK GDPR or the California CCPA) hold the equivalent rights under their own law; the email address above is the route for all of them.

Cookies

The site uses only the technical essentials needed to function. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

Changes

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we will note it here with a new date. Small clarifications may happen without announcement.
